The Winery: This is an amazingly beautiful winery surrounded by meticulously maintained gardens. The winery is designed in an American Victorian style to make the correct background for the Berghold family’s large collection of antiques from the period. Many of the antiques are museum quality and are too extensive to list here, but the tasteful design of the tasting room along with the beautiful, fairly high end wine related merchandise and art for sale makes this winery well worth the visit. The Winery: There are actually two tasting room sites for Brice Station Vintners, the one found at Vina Piazza and a second one located just east of Murphys in Calaveras County.  This is a colorful winery built on the old stage stop created by a deed signed by President McKinley.  The estate is also home to the Quyle Pottery Kiln and is home to some of the highest vineyards in the Sierra Foothills at about 3300 feet in elevation.

The Winery: Crystal Valley Cellars is part of the Consentino Winery series. Crystal Valley Cellars was originally established by Mitch Consentino in Modesto in the early 1980s producing small batch wines. When the winery was moved to the Napa Valley near Yountville it was renamed Consentino Winery. In 2001 the new Crystal Valley Cellars opened in the Lockeford where a gracefully designed, Spanish style tasting room offers not only the wines from this facility, but also wines from the Napa winery. The Winery: The Indelicato family has been producing wines & growing grapes throughout California for 80 years. The founder and family patriarch, Gaspare, came to the United States from Sicily in 1912 and by the time Prohibition came about he was producing homemade wine and selling wine grapes to people in Chicago and on the East Coast. In the mid 1930s winemaking on a large scale began in earnest and the wines became local favorites with the Italian population. The Winery: Gnekow Family winery has two tasting locations; at the winery which is just southeast of Lodi off East Mariposa Road and a second facility east of Manteca in Escalon at 1124 California Street. The winery not only produces wine for the estate, but also has a customer crush facility which produces 70,000 cases annually for such fine wineries as Hess, Bogle and Kendall Jackson and has a storage capability of 526,000 gallons. The tasting room does a great job of incorporating a lot of fun, with wine barrels as the theme, in the tasting experience. The Winery: The tasting room for Harmony Wynelands is settled amongst beautifully landscaped gardens and the estate vineyards. An organ that originally graced the San Francisco Castro Theatre has been lovingly restored and graces the tasting room. Winery owner Bob Hartzell is known to play the organ for the enjoyment of the winery patrons on a fairly regular basis, making tasting and shopping in the gift shop a relaxing and unique experience. Heritage Oaks Winery- Acampo, California

The Winery: The 106 acre estate is located not far from downtown Lodi, on the banks of the Mokelumne River. The estate provides a short ¾ mile hiking trail from the winery to the river, and a beach side picnic area. The trail continues on from the beach and makes a full 2 ½ mile loop near the river area. The winery requests all guests stop in the tasting room to check in, and obtain a map, prior to taking the tour. There are ready made picnic lunches for sale in the tasting room for those who did not bring their own.
