The Winery:
The winery was established in 2000 and built around finding a good wine that is affordable and enjoyable. The tasting room for Jewel is in the front of the large winery facility. It has a extensive gift shop that sells a selection of wine and household items. Across the large parking lot from the tasting room is a nicely landscaped lawn and picnic area that is capable of holding large events.    Read More
Housley’s Century Oak Winery- Acampo, California

The Winery: The Housley family started their journey in the wine industry by growing Chardonnay grapes in the central Napa Valley. They followed that several years later by purchasing 57 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon and then 20 acre of Old Vine Zins in the Lodi region, among other properties. This lead the family to try their hand at winemaking and in 2000 the winery was completed. The tasting room of the winery is rustic with pine paneling and an American farmhouse antique atmosphere.   Read More
Jessie’s Grove Winery - Lodi, California

The Winery: The family ranch that became Jessie’s Grove was established in 1868. The first vineyards were established in 1888, and the family continued to add vines as time passed. Every effort has been made by the family of the founder, Joseph Spenker, to preserve the ranch as close to its original state as possible. In keeping with that the tasting room is built in a building originally built in 1870 and there is a museum in a 1870s barn. There is also a 32 acre oak grove that is a nature preserve. The winery is named for Joseph’s daughter, Jessie, a naturalist who grew up on the 320 acre ranch. Read More

The Winery: Steve and Lori Felten represent the 5th generation of Lodi grape growers to work this land and the first to make their own commercial wines. The grapes were originally grown, as so many were in early California, for home winemakers in the region and then during Prohibition for home winemakers in the east. In the 1930s the grapes were being sold to commercial wineries throughout California, and portions still are today.    Read More

The Lucas Winery- Lodi, California

The Winery: Established in 1978, a new winery was built in 2000 specifically to produce great Zinfandel wines and is an elegant tribute to Zinfandel grape. The winery has a modern A frame style that allows views out to the old Zinfandel vineyards not far from the facility. The high ceilings and wood paneled walls of the tasting room work beautifully with the views to the meticulously landscaped grounds outside.

The Winery: The name for M2 is a lighthearted play on the names of founders Layne Montgomery and Chris Matheny. The initial vintages were produced at a custom crush facility in Amador County with the 2006 wines produced at the new Lodi winery. The winery is located in a commercial district of Lodi with a cozy tasting area found in the cellar room and decorated with local artwork.

The Winery: McConnells Estate is owned and operated by fifth generation farming family, the Wackmans. The tasting room located in the 100 plus year old McConnel ranch house that has been lovingly and tastefully redone, right down to the white picket fence. The Winery: The Phillips family has been farming the estate land in Lodi since the 1860s where they started with 160 acres. They were vegetable farmers who soon began planting wine grapes. Their wine grapes grew in reputation across the country as Prohibition set in and many home winemakers in the east purchased Lodi grapes to make their own wine. The estate is now operated by 5th generation brothers, Michael and David Phillips. The winery operates a roadside café, tasting room and farmer’s market off Highway 12 just east of Highway 5.    Read More

The Winery: Miramont Estates is located near the town of Linden east of Stockton in the rolling countryside of the lower foothills. The estate, established in 1997, is owned and run by three generations of the Pechan family. The tasting room is in the barrel room of the winery and has some stunning celestial pictures on the wall that were used in the making equally beautiful wine labels.
