The Winery:
This winery has its winery production facility and tasting room located in Lockeford and has a second tasting room in the Fairplay AVA of El Dorado County. The winery was founded by Rich and Christine Rorden and is the result of a long family interest in home winemaking. The family decided to take that experience and turn it into a commercial winery, a common theme in California winemaking. The tasting room in Lodi AVA is located at the Vino Piazza Wine Mall.

The Vineyards:
The winery buys its grapes from a number of Sierra Foothill and Central Coast vineyards to make their selection of varietals and blends.

The Wines:
Cantiga prides itself on producing wines from grapes grown in different regions in California that reflects the special attributes of that area. They take advantage of the family winemaking experience in Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Syrah making small handcrafted batches with as little handling of the fruit as possible. The winery offers both a barrel-aged and oakless Chardonnay, which allows for the ability to taste the two winemaking styles side by side.
