The Winery:
The owners of the Olde Lockeford Winery are also the owners of the Vino Piazza Winery Plaza.  This is a beautiful, Tuscan style facility with numerous wineries, a bistro and a snack shop.  The tasting room for the Lockeford Winery is especially impressive with its museum quality fossils and fossil reproductions.  This is an intriguing spot to spend time tasting some of their delicious Lodi wines and exploring the interesting exhibits.  The tasting room offers a selection of unique gifts and gourmet food items for sale as well as their award winning winesodi wines and exploring their exhibits. The Vineyards:
The estate owns none of its own vineyards but purchases grapes primarily from local Lodi vineyards. They supplement those with grapes from both the Napa Valley and Sierra Nevada Foothills.

The Wines:
The wines of Olde Lockeford have found themselves at the winning end of some major wine competitions in the past several years. The winery makes an excellent selection of sweet wines, which includes an Zinfandel ice wine and a white port style.

The Winemaker:
Owner Don Litchfield, who started his professional career as a Geologic Engineer, is the winemaker at Olde Lockeford. He is also the winemaker at the custom crush facility that produces 25,000 cases annually for other local wineries.
